An Earth-Positive Initiative

Introducing the One Home Forever Fund, our new initiative dedicated to supporting Earth-positive organisations and, therefore, the planet. Each year we will make it our responsibility donate a minimum pledge to several hand picked charities and to work with them to help build awareness around their cause.

Our goal is to distribute work with several main partners that receive the majority of the donation whilst leaving a small proportion to discover smaller charities that are discovered along the way or suggested by our community.

Surfers Against Sewage

Surfers Against Sewage is a grassroots environmental charity that campaigns to protect the ocean and all it makes possible.

It was created in 1990 by a group of Cornish surfers, fighting to clean up the sea that was making them sick. Now, Surfers Against Sewage campaigns on all that threatens the ocean - plastic pollution, the climate emergency, industrial exploitation and water quality – by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top.

In order to tackle the plastic tide, Surfers Against Sewage are campaigning for an end to plastic pollution on UK beaches by 2030.

Cool Earth

Cool Earth has the most effective rainforest saving solution. They are the only charity providing direct and inclusive funding to people living in rainforest.

Indigenous communities living in tropical rainforest have protected them for generations, and are the absolute best stewards of these endangered ecosystems.

Cool Earth listens to rainforest communities, they empower their voices, and they provide them with everything they need to protect Earth’s most vital carbon sinks.

Blue Marine Foundation

Blue Marine works through a combination of top-down governance improvements and bottom-up project delivery to support local communities on the frontlines of ocean conservation.

As the world’s largest carbon sink, the ocean plays a crucial role in stabilising the Earth’s climate, and by combating overfishing, we can help marine life maintain this vital function. Blue Marine follows a clear strategy focused on creating marine protected areas, tackling overfishing, restoring marine habitats, and educating local communities.

Their mission is to protect at least 30% of the world’s ocean by 2030 and ensure the sustainable management of the remaining 70%.

Supporting Our Planet Our Way

Over the years we've explored many ways to contribute more positively to the planet, whether that be through the introduction of organic cotton & eco-friendly materials or through working closely with factories to ensure more sustainable practices.

We have considered joining existing initiatives, but in the end, we decided to do it our way.

It was important to us to create an initiative with an inclusive & flexible approach to sustainability. By allocating a % of our revenue annually, we can ensure a consistent contribution to our partner charities, while also allowing for emerging priorities & new opportunities.

By creating our own fund we can build authentic connections with the organisations we choose- gaining a deeper and more transparent understanding of the work they do, and what impact our fund is having. It also allows us to get involved with charity activations- through volunteering, events, or collaborations.

Collectively, our 3 partner charities cover multiple climates, audiences & platforms. Individually, they all offer something different in their approach to raising awareness. From ocean analysis and education to the incentivisation & empowerment of native communities, we aimed to cover all bases with the organisations we chose.

What was also clear to see with all of them was their genuine desire to make a change, and an enthusiasm to educate & get us involved. As much as we needed each organisation to resonate with our brand, they also needed P&Co to resonate with theirs.

We believe in the power of collective action and will continue to inspire others to explore new paths towards a more sustainable future.

Why have P&Co chosen to create this fund?

At P&Co, we’ve built our brand on strong relationships and aligned values. As we decided to enhance our commitment to being a more responsible brand and contribute to charities doing amazing work, we wanted to approach this new chapter with the same level of dedication and passion that we bring to everything we do. We believe that building relationships with our chosen partners and giving our community the ability to suggest new partners felt more authentic to who we are as a team and as a brand.

How do I suggest a charity for future consideration?

We’re excited to hear our community's suggestions! Please email the charities you would like us to review to onehomeforever@pand.co. Be sure to include the charity's name in the subject line and ensure they meet the criteria below:

  • The charity must be focused on environmental issues.
  • The charity must be officially registered either in the UK or in their country of residence.
Who are the main 3 charities you’ve partnered with?

We’ve carefully selected the three partners that we feel most aligned with. We share their concerns and are motivated to support their causes. We’ve had exciting conversations with each charity, and we look forward to working with them in various ways through via the fund:

How are donations made to the fund?

At the end of each month, we calculate 1% of revenue* and transfer the amount into our fund account.

When do the charities receive their % of the fund?

At the end of the financial year (March 31st), we will calculate the final amount to be distributed to each partner. The funds will then be donated to the committed charities within 90 days.

If my order is refunded, how does this affect the fund?

The percentage we add to the fund each month is calculated after returns. Therefore, if your order is returned for a refund, there will be no contribution from that order.

Is the One Home Forever Fund a charity?

No, this is not a charity. We have created a fund that will accumulate over the year, allowing us to donate 1% of revenue* to the charities we have chosen.
