One Home Forever | Cool Earth

Cool Earth is a climate change charity that works with indigenous people and over 60 local communities to protect the Earth’s rainforests. Their mission is to provide direct funding to rainforest communities, supporting projects that create choices, tackle the root causes of deforestation, and protect vital carbon sinks. Remarkably, deforestation rates in Cool Earth’s partnership areas are up to 82% lower than in neighbouring areas.

Cool Earth is the only charity providing direct and inclusive funding to people living in the rainforest. These communities have safeguarded tropical rainforests for generations, making them the best stewards of these endangered ecosystems. Cool Earth listens to these communities, empowers their voices, and provides them with the resources they need to protect some of the Earth’s most critical carbon sinks.

In their partnerships, 457,000 hectares of rainforest are protected by 89,000 people. Within this vast area, 136 million trees are safeguarded, and 243 million tonnes of carbon are stored.

Cool Earth is doing some incredible work, and when we came across their charity, we were immediately hooked. Their approach—empowering local communities to protect the rainforest through education and funding—really resonated with us. That sense of a community-driven purpose is something we strongly believe in, so getting involved felt like a natural choice.

We wanted to work with charities that have a real global impact, and with Cool Earth’s work spanning the Amazon, Congo, and New Guinea rainforests, there’s no doubt they’re making a big difference. We’re excited to support their mission!
