Hand Drawn Forever
Graphics have always been at the core of P&Co. It’s where the brand started, built on hand-drawn artwork, printed tees, and a creative process rooted in illustration rather than shortcuts. That foundation still runs through everything we do today. As the brand has expanded & grown into a wider menswear offering, the graphics have never moved into the background. They remain a constant, evolving alongside every collection while staying true to the same in-house, hand-drawn approach that defined the early days.
The majority of our graphics begin life in our Birmingham studio, created by hand by our own team. Any artwork that is outsourced is given to trusted artists, who we see as an extension of our own team. Each design is sketched, refined, and developed through a process that values imperfection, texture, and individuality. That human touch is what gives P&Co graphics their character, whether it’s a bold front print, a subtle illustration, or a full back design.
Over time, our graphic language has grown. Some designs have become staples, returning season after season because customers connect with them and continue to wear them year after year. Others are intentionally more seasonal or one-off concepts, designed to capture a moment, an idea, or a visual reference that feels right for a specific collection. That balance between permanence and experimentation is what keeps the graphic side of P&Co constantly moving forward.
Inspiration comes from everywhere
Moto culture has always been a strong influence, from the grit and attitude of garage graphics to the energy of racing decals and worn-in club patches. Coastal aesthetics bring a lighter, more sun-faded feel, often referencing vintage travel and seaside imagery. Playful characters add personality and character, while vintage 1950s signage continues to inform typography, layout, and composition. It’s a broad mix, but everything is filtered through the same P&Co lens of authenticity and design-led storytelling.
Alongside the artwork itself, the development of our graphic tees has become just as important. In the early days, everything was built on a single base: the classic relaxed fit tee. As the brand has grown, so has the range of fits and silhouettes. The boxy fit tee introduced a more modern, structured shape. The baby fit brought a tighter, cropped feel. Racerback vests and other variations expanded the offering further, each designed with its own purpose and style.
Details matter just as much as fit. Ribbed collars, overlocked stitching, washed finishes, and fabric selection all play a role in how each piece feels and wears over time. These elements are constantly refined to make sure the garments not only look right but hold up as everyday staples in a modern wardrobe.
Through all of this evolution, one thing has never changed. Every graphic is still hand-drawn and almost all by our team in Birmingham. That process is the anchor of everything we do on the graphic side of the brand. It ensures that no matter how much the range grows, the designs always stay rooted in craft, creativity, and intention.
Hand-drawn forever isn’t just a statement. It’s the way we work.
