Behind The Design: Our Signature Leopard Print

Leopard Print but make it P&Co.

Earlier this year, we dropped the Leopard Print Carpenter Pants, a reworked classic with a rebellious edge. You didn’t just like them, you loved them. And like any good story, we knew this one had more chapters to tell.

This is the behind-the-scenes look at how we turned a timeless print into something unmistakably ours, and why this is only the beginning.

A Reimagined Classic

Leopard print has always carried a bit of attitude. But for us, that wasn’t enough. We wanted to take something familiar and flip the script- give it teeth, give it character, give it soul.

That’s when the idea hit: What if we embedded something hidden beneath the surface? A nod to our roots. A symbol of rebellion. The skull has long been part of our identity- it was time to fuse it into the fabric, literally.

From Pad to Print

Every great print starts on paper. Our designers hit the sketchbooks, playing with traditional leopard spots and working skulls into the mix- some obvious, some a little harder to spot. The goal? A design that rewarded a second look.

We played with scale, tone, and texture, asking ourselves: How far can we push it? The answer came through in layers, balancing subtle motifs with a bold presence that hits just right.

Made To Last

Once the concept was locked, we brought the print to life across fabric samples, testing how it moved, aged, and looked in natural light. We didn’t want a one-hit wonder, we wanted a pattern that could stand the test of wear.

The result was a textile that feels vintage and modern all at once. Iconic, but entirely our own.

Same Print, New Silhouettes

You asked for more, and we listened. We’re expanding the range with two new pieces in this signature skull-infused print: a pleated skirt and an oversized women’s jacket. Whether you dress it up or throw it on with boots, this print will do the heavy lifting.

More To Come

The response blew us away. And while this print made the first mark, the story isn’t over.

We’ve been back in the lab, taking everything we learned from this drop and channeling it into something new. New concepts, new twists, and a few surprises we’re not ready to share just yet. But trust us, the process is already underway.
