For our latest installment of our Autumn offering, we headed across the pond again.
Set against the streets of New York’s West Village, the campaign brings together a collection built for the changing seasons- think lots of layers and texture. We’ve got some familiar P&Co staples in there, alongside our latest autumn range.
We flew out friend of the brand and photographer Felix Russell-Saw to capture the collection, meeting up with his friend Atticus in the city. Alongside assisting on the shoot, Atticus opened up his home and introduced us to his four-legged co-star, a very photogenic Vizsla who made a few appearances of her own.
In front of the camera were Yanca and Thomas, two faces we’ve wanted to work with for a long time. The pair felt right at home against the charming character of the West Village, bringing the collection to life amongst its 19th-century brownstones and everyday rhythm.
Built for the in-between
Autumn Vol. 2 is all about layering.
As the seasons change, this collection brings together plenty of texture and weight; from soft brushed knits and scarves to raw indigo denim and heavy outerwear. The Roamer Wax Jacket returns, this time reworked and improved, alongside new brown checks and plaid designs that bring a little more pattern into the mix.
Knitwear sees the introduction of our first argyle pieces, sitting alongside everyday layers designed to work together as the season changes. Ribbed long sleeves, shirts, jackets and knitwear make up a wardrobe built around mixing, matching and adding another layer when the weather calls for it.
We’ve also introduced our second-ever dress: the Hester, which is a midaxi slip dress in our new favourite brown check print and lace trim , an easy piece to wear on its own or build around.
A New York frame of mind
The West Village in New York City really felt like the right setting for our Autumn Vol. 2 campaign. There’s something about the neighbourhood’s architecture - the 19th century brownstone facades, old brick, fire escapes, winding side-streets and weathered details that feels instantly familiar, particularly if you grew up watching 90s New York through shows like Friends. The exterior of Monica and Rachel’s apartment building at 90 Bedford Street, just around the corner from where we were shooting, is one of the area’s most recognisable pop culture backdrops.
