A Day in Cascais
For this chapter of summer, we headed to Cascais with Eduardo in search of something different.
Our shoots this season have been centred around the city, so spending a day on the coast felt like a welcome change of pace. As soon as we arrived in Cascais, everything shifted. The streets opened up to sea views, the Atlantic breeze replaced the still summer air, and the landscape became defined by cliffs, rocks and stretches of ocean.
Often referred to as the Portuguese Riviera, Cascais has a character all of its own. There's a coastal energy to the town that made it the perfect backdrop for showcasing some of our best-selling summer styles. The natural light, textured coastline and deep blue water brought a fresh backdrop to our range, creating imagery that feels very different from the rest of the season.
We spent much of the day exploring the shoreline, climbing down onto the rocks and shooting against the dramatic coastal scenery. The landscape provided a contrast to the clean lines and relaxed styling of the collection.
One of the standout moments came at Boca do Inferno, the famous "Devil's Mouth." Here, the coastline becomes even more dramatic, with powerful waves surging through the cliffside opening that has been carved out by the ocean over centuries. Standing above it, surrounded by the sound of crashing water and open sea, it felt like the perfect expression of what made this shoot so memorable.
Cascais brought a completely different mood to our summer shoot. It was a refreshing departure from our previous locations and a reminder of how much a change of scenery can shape the story of a collection.
